How The Fresh Prince helped me make $90,000

PN010603I have always been a BIG fan of Will Smith, ever since I watched him on the Fresh Prince of Bel Air … Independence day … Men In Black … Bad Boys and the list goes on.

But, I never thought that he would EVER teach me anything about mindset.

To me, he has always ONLY been an Entertainer and Rapper …

BUT one day, out of the blue, I just happened to come across a Youtube video that changed my entire outlook on what I was doing.

As I watched the video there was one thing that really stood out for me … and at the time it was the catalyst that helped me to go on and make $90,000 in the span of six months.

I’m gonna tell you what that catalyst was, but first let me say $90,000 is not a lot compared with the guru’s and their million dollar launches, but for me at the time, it was everything.

You see I had been in business for a while … and you sort of get to a point where you are doing things, but nothing’s happening.

It’s almost as if you are spinning your wheels day in and day out. Although you are doing “stuff” it doesn’t seem to be getting you closer to your goal, in fact sometimes, it almost feels as if you’re going sideways or worse, backwards.

You start to second guess yourself. You wonder if you are doing things right. You wonder what you are doing wrong, and slowly, but surely, these thoughts cycle around until you start to do nothing and give up.

So this is where Will came in …

Now there’s not many entertainers that I can attribute life changing experiences to, but if there was one, then I’m glad it was Will Smith lol. I know … (The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air) I still laugh about it now, even while writing this post.

Hindsight is always 20/20. It is interesting to look back at situations in your life and see the path, because it is always so clear and so simple. BUT when you’re in the thick of it, it is hard to see your way out.

So what I realized when I looked back was that I was 95% of the way there, I just needed a slight mind shift to get me over the line. And that slight mind shift was what Will Smith gave me.

Now I know that I was gonna tell you what the catalyst was for me, so here it is.

Will Smith – “The only difference between me and someone else is that I am not afraid to die on a treadmill …”.

WTF – I know … a little abstract right, but watch the video for context.

BUT to me this means that you will always be spinning your wheels until you truly commit your entire essence to your goal. Are you willing to fight for your dreams. Then do what it takes to get your there.

Truth is I had everything available to me to make this happen, all I had to do was to “JUST DECIDE” and walk the path.
